i Everyone!
I have just begun reading Anne of the Island again.  I haven't read it since
high school--I can't get over how the people in the first couple of chapters are
like people I knew while in college(I graduated last spring with my B.A.).
Charlie Sloan reminds me of several guys that I couldn't stand (I don't remember
him being so much that way in the earlier books),  they were the types that were
OK to know in passing, but I didn't like having to spend any time with them.  I
find a kinship with Prisilla, and Philippa reminds me of a friend that I had my
freshman year.
Getting off this subject and onto another...  I agree with you all that Harrison
Ford is handsome--I realy liked him in Sabria but it did make you wonder why she
went after the younger brother (I thought that the younger bro. was the cuter in
the b/w version).  I would like to also add another "gil"--Stewart
Finley-Maclennan (Doc MacNeill in Christy).  The brogue that he spoke in for
that series make him all the more appealing. ;)Anna Marie

Hi,

I think that book called, "Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm" is by Laura
Ingalls Wilder's daughter who wrote about her grandmother who is Laura's
mother. Laura Ingall's Wilder was an author herself and the books she
wrote became a series called, "Little House on the Praire."  The series
did quite successfully! Laura lived in the late 1800's to early 1900's.
Her daughter I'm not sure about?

I'm not 100% sure if this is the book I'm thinking of. It does sound
very familiar.

The series was very successful as I said eariler -- for maybe 10 to 12
years on air. Micheal Landon was -- from what I've been told and seen --
was one of the best.(He died of cancer I think a few years back) The
series was from 1974 to 1984 or close to those years. Later on Micheal
Landon did "Highway to Heaven" during the late 1980's.

Speaking of which, I just remembered...Micheal Landon's son(Micheal
Landon Jr. I think)made a movie about his father with the past 3 or 4
months. It will be on in May so far on CBS. It's with John
Schneider(Dukes of Hazzard) and Cherly Ladd(Charlie's Angles).

aside from movies and some theatrical perfomances...megan follows have
also done quite a number of audio books..! Three "Anne" books, and 3
or 4 other novels..i forgot...but if u wanna buy them ...u can always
check them out from your local bookstores or AMAZON.COM!

Hello:)  I'm  new  to this list, living in the UK. I've been a great fan of
Megan's since watching Green Gables, most of which I have on video.

I'll ask a couple of questions while I'm here...

Are there any DVD's out there with Megan in? I have a scanner and get  best
results from Digital Disc, so I'd go totally mental over G-Gables-DVD.

...and  -  was  it  my imagination or did I once see Megan in a film, snow,
car, wearing dark glasses. That's all the information I have, as  I  caught
a glimpse of this 'film' during channel hopping years ago. ;)

Yes, she did get a divorce and she does have a child. I don't recall if
it's just one or two?

Last year, Kevin Sullivan and the Anne of Green Gables:The Continuing
Story cast filmed. Now, they are putting the pieces together. It will be
on CBC later this year. I assume around Christmas time.

If you go to http://www.fansites.com/megan_follows.html you will get
some websites and one link will have a list of what channel, day, etc.
the movie/t.v show that will be on during the current month.

If you go to http://www.sullivan-ent.com there will be pictures of the
new Anne!

That's all I know right now. I haven't had a chance myself to look up
more information on her just yet.

hi..everyone ..i am Rufina. I am new to this list.
so..let me introduce myself first.  I am now 21..and i am college
student majoring in english literature!! i love reading L.M.M.'s novels
very much..and as a result..i love Megan Follows!! She is really a
brilliant and talented actress!!

but since i am not living in Cananda nor US..i don't know much about
Megan Follows..! (Except that she is the actress who play Anne, and the
narrator of Anne of green gables in the audio books!!) so can anyone of
u here tell me more about Megan ? or is there any great website of
Megan's out there?? so that i can look up those info by myself??

btw, i know she got a divorce a few years ago..is that true? how about
the new Anne of Green GAbles sequel by Kevin Sullivan? will it be aired
in Canada this summer?

oh..sorry..i am really eager to know more about Megan Follows..so i hope

For those of you who don't know: "Sullivan Entertainment announces the
commencement of principal photography on "Anne of Green Gables: The Continuing
Story". Megan Follows and Jonathan Crombie will reprise their roles as Anne
Shirley and Gilbert Blythe in the third installment to the
"Anne" Series. Look for it in late 1999 on CBC.
