to McCandles!


Unless you're a true fan of John Wayne it is hard for you to understand the pure joy we find in watching one of his films. Whether you're spending an morning witnessing him fighting in WWII, an afternoon with him bring justice to the mean streets of some lawless town or an evening watching him taming the old west, you know you will walk away entertained from a John Wayne film. The DUKE is the crown jewel in the treasury of American cinema.

It is only fitting that we build our tribute in the 21st Century to this great American on the streets of McCandles Texas the setting for his movie about the changes that come with the turning of an new Century.
