Thanks, guys!
Claudia
Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Try it now.
I've just been exploring Claudia's new site - very slick and clean
looking with good depth of information that will expand, as outlined.
I was able to download the Kate Brasher eposodes before the old site
went down - this is great, just being able to switch to an episode
now and again during the long hours spent at my computer is really
super-convenient!
I've never managed to see any of the Law & Order SVU (they are
usually on Channel 5 over in the UK)in Series 6 or 7 - the'ere still
way behind on this. Never mind, will still keep a look out!
Finding a copy of Lily Dale is an impossible task - nothing available
for love nor money.
However, Claudia's research and links through her site are bound to
help us all in our quest for input. Thanks again to Claudia.

All the blog stuff has now been added to the new site with the
following URL:

I will continue to add the news & info there and the blog address will
be deleted soon. The possibilities on a blog are limited so I decided
to create this new site.

Ladies and Gentlemen:
Is it me, or does anyone else notice that if you look at Yahoo
Groups for so many other actresses, they're swamped with advertisments,
rude offers, bots, and all kinds of assorted garbage. I don't see that
in this, MSM's group - I see a thoughtful, intelligent crowd. It's
like a set of admirers who have a mature outlook sharing their respect
for a person who is worthy of it.
By the way, I can't get Claudia's blog to work. Anyone have success?

To forward domains, you eother need control of teh DNS zome files,

Yes, all. Thanks to Claudia for what you have done, and as you can
see you are greatly respected. I will check out the blog. In any
case, I recently received "Funny About Love" her 1990 movie. It
wasn't nearly as poor as the reviews said it would be. I'll admit I
looked forward to the MSM parts - because the movie was a bit of a
cliche.
I pray the New Years found all of you well.

I agree that Claudia has done a fantastic job in the past with her
website....but I would not wish to put on any pressure on her at all
to reopen something that would be too much to handle. Claudia is a
natural hard-worker and we must give her space to enjoy the interface
that we all have with the work of Mary Stuart.
Thanks Claudia - take care!!

As most of you have probably seen, I have finally taken down my Mary
Stuart Masterson website last month (because of several reasons).
Instead I have just started a blog where I will continue to post info
on her projects as they become available. Mary Stuart Masterson is such
a wonderful actress and filmmaker so that her projects deserve to get
more recognition.
I know the blog will never be the same as the website was but sometimes
you have to make decisions.
As I still own the domain www.mary-stuart-masterson.com I will try to
forward this domain to the blog if possible, so that the blog is
accessible with both addresses.

Wow! What a powerful movie. It was extremely well made I think. MSM's
parts were short, but we love to see her, so it was worth watching.
Now, I'll admit, it's hard (even in a movie) to have to listen to the
harsh opinions (and frankly, based on unfair statements) of the would
be terrorists, but even so it's a very good movie. I recommend it. I
think we're going to play it in our Operations Center one night.

All very good points, who can argue with that. Not sure of the
bilogy. I agree SKOW and FGT are Most Excellent and should stand on
their own. I still think it was neat to explore a SKOW II based on
them as parents... similare to Cutting Edge II.

At first, I thought EK was a cameo.
But then he makes repeat appearances
(to wit: the detention hall scenes, and later, he crashes
the party).
But that's the norm for Elias .
Consider this: they killed him off EARLY in "The Fallen"
(he died in the gas chamber).
I think EK prefers cameos.
HOWEVER,
Re: Thompson...
Ringwald was to be cast originally as "Amanda Jones",
but she refused.
In all rights:
PIP and SKOW should have been a bilogy.
That never happened.
But Ringwald was _great_ in "The Breakfast Club",
alongside Judd Nelson and Emilio Estevez, no?
I said all that, to say this:
I don't think a sequel to SKOW would (or even could) work.
SKOW stands on its own merit.
It is MOST EXCELLENT, and it should be left as such,
IMHO.
YMMV.
OTOH:
Would you like a "FGT II"?
I don't think so. Again, FGT stands on its own
merit. Great acting; great storyline.
The same thing goes for SKOW.
Let it be.
