Seems Hollywood is more interested in stuffing the credits with 'names' than
producing a
quality musical. (Excerpt from article below.)
Don't get me wrong -- I really like *most* of these ladies.
But how can you pass up Chita Rivera, Jane Krakowski, and, last but by no means
least, our
Mary Stuart!
The article mentions three songs and two of them, "Be On Your Own" and "My
Husband
Makes Movies" are the ones Mary Stuart sang on Broadway! Obviously, he's never
seen the
play, or else he'd know that Mary Stuart has a killer voice.

"Harvey Weinstein is considering casting big stars for the Weinstein Company's
recently
announced film version of Nine, the New York Post reports.
Weinstein told the paper, "I'm thinking Gwyneth Paltrow, Anne Hathaway, Nicole
Kidman,
Judi Dench, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Renée Zellweger" for the six major female
roles, who
sing and dance opposite a central male role of a movie director."
