You're right; it's part of her acting bag of tricks.
But I have noticed that in certain performances, she
doesn't manifest these tendencies as much.

The main thing, which we all have to answer for
ourselves, is whether or not her character "lives" and
is believable (not counting what the screenwriter and
director force upon all the actors).

she was gr8 as usual..although the cinematography was harsh on all the actors...love her as a brunette though...and would love to see her in more challenging...

I didnt notice her tics too until movieline 9now hollywod lfe) mentioned how annoyed they were about it...good to know that she hasnt given in to plastic ...

you're right...her tics aren't that obvious when she's doing spunky roles...i think one of her best performances was in BLACK AND BLUE...what about you guys?...

I also think her performance in "The Book of Stars" is really good and I just love her portrayal as the "big sister" in "Digging to China". But you're right...
