movies. Together for the first time in 20 years I will
be appearing with Aubree Miller (Cindel Towani) and
Dan Frishman (Deej Ewok, Wicket's father) at Dark Xmas
in Cleveland Ohio. This is Aubree Miller and Dan
Frishman's first ever appearances at a convention so
come on out Star Wars fans and meet all three of us at
this event.

All the information is available at my official site:

My name is Sara, and I'm an Ewok movie fan. When I was younger, my
attention span was too short for Star Wars, but long enough to watch
the Ewok films. My younger brother and I loved to act out scenes and
recite lines, as did some of our close friends. I wanted to be
Cindel's best friend, and be Mace's girlfriend (you may laugh as long
and as hard as you want).

Thank goodness that George Lucas made those films. They were great
then, and they are still great.

According to Starwars.com, the Ewok movies do indeed
take place prior to ROTJ, and the reason why Wicket
didn't speak English to Leia is because the language
Cindel taught him was different from whatever Leia and
the rest of the Rebels spoke. Feasible...

Personally I'd rather believe they occur after ROTJ
only because they were made after them.

Hello Erik and all ewok fans.

Recently I went to my cousins house and found old copies of
two Ewok movies, these brought back memories of me watching them
when I was much younger although im only 15 now.

I have looked for places to buy the two movies and to any
other fans who would like the movies I have found a few patiton
sites to get the movies put on DVD.

Hi Eric,

Let me first say I recently purchased both Ewok movies from Half.com
since they're virtually impossible to find elsewhere. I have signed a
few petitions to half the movies put on DVD but sadly nothing yet.

Do you have any idea what Aubree Miller is up to these days and
whether she plans on getting back into acting? I think she was a
great talent at such a young age, much like yourself!

Thanks,

Robert from Toronto

Hey, well I now alot of people have been using ebay to try and get
their hands on these movies, but when that fails Amazon.com can
always be counted upon... Caravan of Courage as of this moment has a
good deal, running at a price range from $13.16 as the cheapest to
$39.95 at the most for a used copy, and $29.99 to $59.95 for a new
copy. The Battle of Endor isn't as cheap. The Battle of Endor as of
now on Amazon.com is running from $30.99 as the cheapest to $59.99
at the most for a used copy, and $58.95 for a new copy. So if Ebay
works for ya, GREAT! But if not Amazon.com is a good place to try
next...

Hello Eric,

I've been searching for both Ewok movies for quite some time now.
I've just lost an action at Ebay, I was only 33 mins away from
buying Battle for Endore.

Do you know if they are going to be Re-Released any time soon on VHS
or DVD? My friends and I have been huge fans of these movies ever
since we can remeber. It would mean alot to my friends and I if were
to find them.

Thank you,

Kevin

Hey guys,

I just joined this group, and I thought I'd leave a quick message.

I'm obviously a big Star Wars fan, but I won't dwell on this (as most
people seem to). I live in the UK and both Ewok Movies were released
on video over here, and I own both of course ;-). They are perhaps
one of my favourite additions to my SW collection, (particularly as I
don't know anybody else who owns them). Unfortunatly I didn't see
them in the 80's when I was a child, although I'm sure I would have
loved them even more if I had seen them back then. However as I said,
I did I managed to track them down on video a few years back, and
I've been enjoying them ever since. If anybody wants scans of the
video sleeves, (Battle for Endor has a funky double sided sleeve to)
I will be happy to do so.

I don't really have any questions, although I would love to see both
the Ewok Movies on DVD. Somebody asked if they ever would release
them in this format to Rick McCallum on the "Ask the Council" section
of www.starwars.com Rick replied that they would be a possiblity of
this and he actually seem enthusiastic about the idea. I imagine it
won't be for a long time though, as George obviously has Episode III,
Indy 4, and the original trilogy DVD release as prioties.

Eric, have you heard anything about the release on the Ewok Movies on
DVD? I also read your interview on www.lucasfan.com and you mention
that you made a behind the scenes documentary for a School project
with Warrick Davis. Would you consider letting these and some of the
other things you mentioned be availible for special features on a DVD
release? That would be very cool.

Anyway, I did say this would be a quick message, but oh well lol.
It's nice to see somebody giving something back to fans as well. Keep
up the good work.

Laters,

Alex

So! Did you get to try on any others' costumes? Didja get to be an
ewok for ten minutes? Did they let you keep any of your costume
pieces/props/etc?

What was the weather like? Looked in some places like you might be
freezing your tuccus off. {:o)

Thanks Mace Windoo. Although there were no characters made of Mace
Towani there is a gentleman who took a Luke action figure that looks a
lot like me and made his own Mace Towani action figure. Maybe he will
make some more and sell them. Here is his website.
