OK, feedback from folks on the chalk board post from yesterday.
(Consolidating bits)
1) Should the sketch show two tunics at the bottom? The under one coming
though beneath? (I keep bouncing back and forth.)
2) Shall we go for side slits? If you're seeing movement and a bit of
bright, those metallic threads in the brocade can really catch the light, so
that's what you really might be seeing. Unless both are side slit and he's
got silver pants.
2a) Center slit?????? Don't see that one at all. For this being a riding
tunic... it's dress wear. Double slits are impractical in reality... too
much twisting.
3)The outer layer: over tunic vs. surcoat. To me surcoats are normally
totally shapeless and are open on the sides most time.
4)Tunic vs. calling it a jerkin. Aren't jerkins shorter? And often
multiple seamed and fitted (more than this is)?
5) Brocade layer: shirt or tunic? I chose tunic because of the weight of
the fabric. While a shirt is much more likely to have sleeves and stand up
color, they're going for a medievish look, so choosing tunic over a more
modern name. Also, the under layer looks just to be pull on.
6) Re: fitted sleeves meaning it should be more modern terms. Though out
LOTR they have chosen to do fitted sleeves in an armscye to reduce under arm
bunk and give a more rugged (vs. dropped shoulder look)... the fitted sleeve
in this is nothing special.
Feedback please. Pictures are easy to adjust and wording even easier. Just
sound off now before I try and finalize the outfit for the Character
sections.

(at least my car is drivable now, as long as I don't go over any large
bumps... then the wipers come on... Someone in our apartment complex
surprised the kids... they only messed up 7 cars, 14-15 year-olds, only
managed to steal one car in the neighbor hood but went on quite a wilding...
all weekend long.)
