We havent used the users group for a while but we finally have a topic that merrits an update. Since the EPA has reduced the sulpher to less than 15 parts per million, and we need this sulpher as lubricant in the injection pump it has become nessasary to use additives. The metering valve on stanadyne rotery pumps will wear and the engine will have trouble keeping speed steady.Once this has occurred the only remidie is rebuilding the pump. This is very costly, usually around 1,000 to 1,200 $ The solution is an additive made by Stanadyne called Preformance Plus. We have found this to be an effictive preventative, and in some cases fix an already damaged pump. It is available from Regenerators or from a Stanadyne dealer, and is very cost effictive. If any of you have experienced problems with algie in your fuel, let me know, We have a treatment for that as well.

I hope this is the beginning of a national list of Burrell owners. Please put this site on you respective computers as these come in we will have a list to sub rent for sports.
I would like these Burrell owners to be a priority call for all network sports activity.

We need to get a list of all owners and locations.
Filmwerks is subrenting a number of units for TV Sports around the
country. Each time I have to really hunt to find a Burrell or Crawford
and a qualified operator.
A list of all owners interested in renting their units would be very
helpful.
Brian/ Bob will you start this and then maybe others can add to the
list. In addition to this we need to get the word of this site out to
others who may not have seen it. It can be a very useful tool for
owners and operators as there is a wealth of knowledge gained through
field experience that can be shared in this meduim.

Subject: [LITEPOWERUSERS] New 140Kw in Sprinter will be at New York Cine Equipment Show
Hi Brian & everybody.
The new 140Kw that Brian & Bob skillfully rigged into my new Sprinter van will be on display at the Litepower booth at the NYCES on Sept. 20 & 21. Please feel free to stop by and check it out. It's really a cool package.Totally stealth and great for tight squeezes. Thanks, Adam Flax Strike Force Inc.
Brian, check the battery voltage display. if it shows less than 12v. the meter may stop counting all together. the only way it can change otherwise is A{BOARD SET WAS CHANGED TO SPARE AND NO ONE TOLD YOU. OR B{ PROGRAM WAS CORRUPTED, THIS SHOULD HAVE SOME OTHER ILL EFFECT. I have seen board's with over 10,000 hrs. vendor says it should keep running long after that.if it indeed shows less than 12v, call me and we will go over calibration.
At what hr reading will the 60kw computer roll over on hrs. I hads one roll at about 3k. Is that typical? My 60 wishes it was in freeport with its brothers and sisters!
In wish you and I were drinking a cold one in Freeport with them. Don't know about the hours. Will call you Monday about 4/5 of the small units for battery Park.

Way to go Brian, we're her in NC with your gear and happy. Thanks for
getting the 60k to Ft Pearce. It landed in Freeport today all in tact.
For your info there are 4 Burrells over there now.
Keep us in the loop. I would love to see a section where we all put in
info about things we discover as we use the units. This could turn
into a real neat troublshooting site.
Thanks for all your great service.
