Story Line: A boring man in a mundane existence befriends a charismatic coworker
who enchants him to fulfill his destiny; while falling in love with a prophetic
stripper; and while being haunted by the ghost of a 7 year old double murder
suicide victim.

SEEKING-

TOD: Lead / MALE / 28 TO 35 / Caucasian
An all-American lower middle class guy in his late 20's early 30's.After high
school he's knocked up his girlfriend and has been unhappily married ever since.
As a child Tod's been verbally and physically abused by his father which causes
insecurity and has convinced himself to be considered a loser and "uncool". Tod
has no hobbies, no interests, no sons yet two daughters. Deep down he's afraid
he'll have another daughter and becomes even more hopeless to live fulfilled. He
lives life going through the motions to make ends meet and can only pride
himself as his families provider. Tod's very observant and pessimistic about
society- the way it runs, the way people interact. Through his observations and
pessimism the circle and routine of life rubs him raw. Raised ultra-traditional
his pessimism of American society has him bursting at the seams. Tod's withdrawn
yet impulsive when it comes to short term desires and often is decisive based on
principle. He's the guy in high school who had a girlfriend but had no life; not
necessarily someone who was made fun of however. Ultimately, Tod's awkward and
struggles to find his voice. Hearing himself scream without hesitance or
embarrassment has been a lifelong goal of his. Throughout the story we follow
him closely as he embraces the symptoms of schizophrenia. Once schizophrenia is
embraced Tod's able to scream and allow his words to slur; his inner monologue
must go wild taking himself to eccentric heights.

CANDY: Supporting / FEMALE / 20 TO 30
A petite sexy seductive muse in her mid 20's. Manipulative enough to fully
understand how to control the "ignorance is bliss" cop-out. Soft spoken and
educated in slang and on being cool. Although mentally one step ahead of
everyone she often doesn't think before she speaks. She understands sociology;
able to read a person from a mile away. Candy gets what she wants with indirect
subtle intentions/ body language while never bluntly saying what exactly it is
that she wants.

JESSICA: Supporting / FEMALE / 25 TO 35 / Caucasian
An all-American plain Jane in her late 20's/ early 30's. A devout Catholic who's
pleased by the simpler things in life. Jessica spends her time volunteering at
her two young daughters' Catholic school, living soullessly for them. Jessica
has little to no sense of humor. She was married right out of high school and
since then has lost all affection for her husband. After having her 1 year old,
hearing, having, or speaking about sex disgusts her. She is a nag by always
stating the obvious. Her values are ultra-traditional, her self esteem is
little, her life is her daughters, her aspirations are none.
