Most people who liked the last two sequels will probably like SCARY
MOVIE 4. While most reviewers disliked the hackneyed formula, they
had to admit there were still some good laughs to be had. It is not
nearly as funny as the original, and is a pale comparison to the
currently playing Slither for sheer laughs and cleverness. The
obligatory references to other popular movies that came out last year
are there, but it is NOT ENOUGH to keep this film from being largely
disliked.


THE WILD is being called a very poor rehashing of last year's film
Madagascar. Corny and UNINSPIRED, this film has been given a big
thumbs down by almost every reviewer.


HARD CANDY is a story about a teenaged girl who meets an online suitor
in a coffee shop and then goes back to his place only to find a series
of MEANDERING, AND UNNECESSARY PLOT TURNS. Viewers have said the film
is mediocre with a few thrilling moments, but not nearly enough to
justify seeing it.


The Brits have not yet tired of the "reserved folk get startled by
modern ideas" formula as is evidenced by the release of KINKY BOOTS.
THE PLOT IS PEDESTRIAN and left no one guessing what was coming next.
Most viewers felt it was not worth watching.
