DAVE CHAPPELLE'S BLOCK PARTY is a great time, and a great movie.
Reviewers loved it. It's the chronicle of Dave Chappell walking
around a Brooklyn neighborhood and passing out invitations to what
turns out to be an awesome block party. It is very funny, infectious,
and SHOWS THE VERY BEST SIDE OF PEOPLE in a time when society seems to
be drifting apart.
A movie for the middle school set, AQUAMARINE fails to win over
reviewers. It is a movie with a plot that is old and hackneyed about
a teenaged mermaid trying to get a human teenaged boy to fall in love
with her. The movie is unimaginative, and the lines are PUERILE.
Reviewers have resoundingly called ULTRAVIOLET terrible. Not even the
stylish action scenes could make this movie worth sitting through a
HORRIBLE: plot, dialog, acting, and ending.
