Hi Everyone -

I just heard from a reporter at the GLOBE magazine. The editor there
approved the Joan Crawford story so it'll be in the magazine within a
couple of weeks. Not next week's issue, probably the week after. I
offered ten free signed copies as a reader giveaway so I think that
tipped the scales in my direction too.

I'll be sure to let you all know exactly when the story will appear.

Thanks! It was a real coup to get Cathy's permission to print those
letters so I'm really very pleased that everyone is enjoying reading
them. Casey was very eager to get his story across, or at least a taste
of it in this book, and like I said earlier, hopefully we can get our
schedules set up so we can do a complete biography on Joan from the
other side. That would be fantastic!

I agree, a book based on the opinions of the twins together with Casey's
viewpoint of Joan

Hi Everyone -

Just a note to let you all know that my Joan Crawford book has been released.
I'm very
pleased with the results. There are a few typos throughout which have been noted
and are
being fixed for the next print run. Inevitable hiccups of a first run book.
Frustrating, yes,
but it does happen. A couple of people have decided to give the book a one star
Amazon
review because of these typos which has been exceedingly disappointing.

Anyway, many people have also expressed that they'd like to hear more from
Joan's
grandson, Casey. Well, that wish may not be too far away...his foreword in "Joan
Crawford:
Her Life In Letters" was particularly interesting. His description of Joan as
being a loving
grandmother has sparked a lot of interest in wanting to know more and more.

Casey has expressed interest in doing a rebuttal book to "Mommie Dearest" with
me. This
would also include memories and photos from his mother and Joan's other
daughter,
Cathy.

Joan's reputation may be making a long awaited comeback...

I just purchaed my copy from Amazon and can't wait to get it. with
any luck it will arrive on a Friday so I can kick back and read it
cover to cover. If it comes on a weekday I'll be be one tired puppy
