Hi Bill and Welcome!
As Liz had mentioned I'm midway through an Australian trip. It's nice
to catch up with family and friends in the midst of a very hot
Australian summer. We have a little over a week here before flying
back to NY.
I'm checking my e-mails every few days and sure enough work beckons,
even from this distance. Still, any work to do with this book on Joan
is "good work" - My agent tells me that Avalon books are currently
reading my proposal for "Joan Crawford: Her Life In Letters," and
they are VERY intrigued by the concept of it.
Of course this is only stage one in the tiresome process of finding a
publisher, but it WILL happen.
Take care and keep your fingers crossed for a "yes, we want this
book!" response from ANY publisher.
Best -
Michelle
