Jewel was born on June 2 1982 in Vancouver British Columbia Canada, but lived in Maui till the age of 4, when she moved back to Vancouver. She has appeared in numerous Canadian Television programs, and has guest starred in American programs such as The X Files. She has several films to her credit, including "Cheaters" and "Gold Diggers."
Her most recent Television roles were as "Daisy" on the Fox series "Higher Ground" where she starred opposite Hayden Christensen and the brilliant but defunct Fox Sci-Fi show "Firefly."
