Wow, where to start on this one?
Okay, for starters, both sisters are married, Jean has 3 small kids, like it or
not, their family types now. Not that they're not both still pretty beyond
belief but I don't think Playboy's in their future anywhere.
And as for their careers before the camera, it's not like being an actor in
Hollywood you can just act when you want to. Somebody has to put you in their
movie or TV show. The twins lasted from basically 1980 till the mid '90s,
that’s a lot longer than most actors have careers actually.
Like many people in Hollywood they simply got tired of the constant rejection
and slow pace of their careers and being in their mid 30's at that point made
the decision (as hard as it may have been) to step behind the camera in order to
earn a living.
Jean's been with several shows and directed many of them; she's now on a hit
sitcom “Two and half Men” so you can't really fault her decision. Liz has
worked on such hit shows as “Charmed” and has now sold a pilot script to
DreamWorks Television, if things work out right Jean may even get to direct it!
So it seems like they made the correct career choices. As much as we their fans
may have wanted to see more of them (and I'm going to let that Playboy crack go
right here) they made the smart move to earn a living. Both women have been very
successful so it's hard to second guess them from where we sit.

movie? There are some indie producers out there thatmake low budget movies. I'm
surprised Playboy never came calling for them. From their pics i see thay are
still gorgeous.

the show (the first season at least) incorporated their dancing skills. I always
wondered what became of them, considering the success of their sister Katey. I'm
surprised their series isn't out on DVD yet.
