JASON CONNERY WILL PLAY LEAD IN “STAN LEE’S LIGHTSPEED”

THE NEW SUPERHERO FILM WILL AIR ON THE SCI-FI CHANNEL

Los Angeles – October XX, 2005:  Jason Connery will play the lead in “Stan Lee’s LightSpeed” – an original film for the Sci-Fi Channel.  The film is based on a new character created by Stan Lee and is directed by Don Fauntleroy. Jeff Franklin is executive producer and it also stars Lee Majors, Nicole Eggert and Daniel Goddard.  Filming is in post-production.

The character LightSpeed was overexposed to radiation after his legs were crushed in the collapse of a building while he was doing battle with his nemesis - Python.   The superhero now possesses the ability to run at the speed of light, however with a weak heart, he requires continual injections of liquid adrenaline to avoid cardiac arrest.
