Hello moni, muse and all!
Now I have made one last try in getting some help from yahoogroups to get back in control of this group. And all they do is telling me to request for a new password to be sent to the email address I registered with, some 6 years ago - which is an address I lost control of some years ago.
I can't reach any emails sent to that address, and I wanted yahoogroups to go in and change my email to the one I do have access to... but no, they can't do that (even after they've seen that I really am the same person who are listed as the group owner).
Instead the tell me to request for a new password to be sent to the email I can't reach.... So, I guess I'll have to give up on that.

I've set it on some restriction, which means that you apply, and then I'll accept and let you in.
I'm looking forward to an even better group now that I've got it back - even if it is in a new shape.
