Dear Merriefolk attending Weekend in Sherwood 2005,

It's getting close!  Are there any of you still planning to come who haven't yet registered?

 

Can you all who are attending drop me an email and let me know when you are coming in, and when you are leaving and who your roomies will be for the con?  I need to track how many room nights we as a group will be using at the hotel and make sure everyone is booked under the room block.  (this could affect the price of our meeting room space)

 

Also, just to let you know that the hotel has 2 floors and there is no elevator service to the second floor.  (They had assured us the elevators would be installed and running before the convention).  (Anyone who has requested an accessible hotel room, rest assured those are on the first floor across from the meeting room space.)  However, if you don't wish to run up and down stairs to your rooms, please contact the hotel and request your room assignment to be on the first floor at 734-283-4400.

 

We will not have to worry about the restaurant or lounge in the hotel not being open as happened at the last hotel.  I have it in our contract that the Chophouse restaurant will be open Friday, 6am to 10pm, Saturday, 7am to 11pm, and Sunday 7am to 8pm.  The Lounge will be Thursday, 11am to Midnight, Friday and Sat, 11am to 2am, and Sunday Noon - 10pm.
