Gosh, I can't imagine why they would have picked a venue that was inaccessible! They just can't be that ignorant, can they? Did you speak with them about it before hand? It sounded as if you did, saying they picked the place even knowing it was not accessible. Truly a travesty.

 

I don't know you, Nikke, but I certainly feel terrible that this still happens in the 21st century. You're right, perhaps some are still literally stuck in medieval times.

 

It is their loss---not only do they lose your financial support, and your enthusiasm for ROS, but they also lose a wonderful opportunity to spend time with you. I am sorry you need to deal with this. I am sure it is very disappointing. I am glad you can attend other conventions. I have been to a few (not for many years now), and you're right, they are great fun.

 

Shame on Legend, indeed. I would be inclined to boycott the convention because of this. And even though it upsets you to share this with all of us---thank you for doing so.  It helps all of us to be more sensitive to others and less self-centered.
