Hi Benita!
I know someone else will be able to explain this better but this is part of a computer virus being sent. They take a recognizable name of a group member (such as Nikkis), add a different address, put a subject line that will get your attention and send an attachment. If you open the attachment your entire computer will be affected so I guess the best advice is not to open attachments if you arent expecting them.I know a computer whiz will explain all of this so much better but I tried!!
As for the other problem, if yahoo won't help I dont' know what to suggest unless you started another group and that would be alot of work for you...if you do that though please let me know!!

Hi Nikke and all of you others too,I think this is very strange. Since I am the owner of this group, howcome this message goes out from "you" (or TO you) in the first place?I've been having problems for years now with managing the group. I've lost my password (it all of a sudden was invalid and the email address I used is no longer working). I can't receive email to that address, and there's no way I can change the address without logging in... which is impossible for me to do without my working password. And Yahoo does not respond to my asking them for assistance. Is there anyone who knows how I could get logged in?Or, how I could get some help to solve that problem? So, remember all,The listowner here is ME (Benita) and only ME.Blessed be!Benita-------Original Message-------Date: 03/19/04 06:26:22Subject: [JasonConnery] Re: Notify about your e-mail account utilization.Hi all,
I didn't send this...what's going on?
My email account is working fine - does this mean someone has got my
password and is using my account?
If anyone can shed light on this, let me know. Thanks,
Nikke.
