Thanks for this great news!  It gives me something to look forward to!  My poor tapes are so worn out from multiple watchings that to have them all on DVD would be bliss!  (Plus you can fit more on one DVD than on one VHS so it will take up less storage space!)  If anyone hears about US release, please let me know!
