Dear Jada Pinkett Smith,
my name is Lakeita Pickett and one day, I was hoping for God to
introduce me to you. All I've been wanting to do all my life was to
sing, dance, and act. It seems as though when financially you are
not stable your dreams won't come true! I've been through a lot in
my life, and everyday it is a challenge for me not to give up on my
dreams. I've been trying and trying to find ways of contacting you.
Through my hope and faith of not giving up, I finally found a
website to hopefully get in touch with you. I may not be rich, or
some kind of famous star,but I believe one day I will be if you were
to meet me. I know that you would help me get to where I need to be
in my life to be successful like you. In case you didn't know it,
you and Will Smith are great role models for me in my life. I'm
recently in college now, majoring in Music Business. My goal is to
become a singer, act, dance hopefully create my own clothing line,
and open up my own businesses. I have a lot of faith don't I? My
source is God. I am an African American 20 year old young woman,
looking for ways to better my life. All of my life I've lived in the
ghetto, I'm from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. All I seen while growing up
was proverty because it was all I knew. I was raised in poverty, I
just need one opportunity to better my life. And then maybe I won't
have to struggle in life any more, because it's hard. I'm in college
now by the hairs of my "Chiny, Chin, Chin," and I can't even afford
books for classes, it truly discourages me. I just want to do
something in my life,I know I would love and be good at for a
