admissions for the Masterclass at Copenhagen, Denmark to IMAGO

Class "Inspiration"
An inspirational meeting and exchange of experiences A 3-day Master
Class aimed at professional Cinematographers Friday October 31st -
Sunday November 2nd, 2008
We have invited four outstanding Cinematographers that in their
collaboration with the directors have shown creativity and personal
expression that is so evident - that we must meet them, talk with them
and be mutually inspired.
The seminar will have the structure of a dialogue - with discussions,
exchange of experience, screening clips from their films, explaining
the explicit lighting and artistic choice - all together the
cinematographic expression as pivotal point of departure.
We have invited following panel cinematographers:
Pin Bing Lee, Taiwan and USA, also known as Mark Lee. He has been the
cinematographer for the majority of Hou Hsiao-Hsing's films.
Cesar Charlone, Montevideo, Uruguay, settled in Brazil. Cesar Charlone
has worked with, among others, Fernando Meirelles on City of God,
Constant Gardner and latest Blindness.
Ed Lachman, USA has worked with, among others, directors as Todd
Haynes, Wim Wenders, Steven Soderbergh, Werner Herzog and Sofia
Coppola.
Roger Pratt, UK has worked with, among others, directors as
Terry Gilliam, Tim Burton Richard Attenborough, and Mike Leigh.
There may be minor adjustments in this panel of Cinematographers.
Application:
The Master Class admission fee is 300 Euros.
Location: The National Film School, Copenhagen, Denmark
The Master Class will start Friday October 31th at 15.00 hrs. and ends
Sunday November 1st at 14.00 hrs. Please send application as soon as

For Cinematographers from Countries with little or no possibility to
obtain support or grants to attend the IMAGO Master Class, or who has
more than average travel costs, it is possible to apply for free
