RE-REVIEWS
----------------------------
Om Shanti Om
Extremely watchable, loads of fun. But is it a good film?

Saawariya
Saawariya is overblown with stilted theatricals and generates no emotions
whatsoever and just leaves you plain bored as it plods along.

No Smoking
Anurag Kashyap's follow-up to the magnificent Black Friday is
(intentionally?) baffling and simply cannot be viewed in the context of
Bollywood.

Nivedyam (Malayalam)
In spite of some fine acting and impressive camerawork, the film falls
totally flat, being averse as it is to any kind of in-depth exploration in
either its treatment or theme.

Thakarachenda (Malayalam)
Thakarachenda is an earnest and sincere effort to look at our world from
below. This is all the more commendable today as our films are increasingly
getting imprisoned within the small closed world of the urban middle class.

CLASSIC FILM
---------------------------------
We feature one of the most iconic Hindi films of the 1990s whose influence
on filmmakers like Aditya Chopra and Karan Johar is tremendous.
Hum Aapke Hain Kaun...!
Though dismissed by many as a loooong marriage video and nothing more, the
film, well over 3 hours in length with as many as 14 songs, touched a very
solid emotional chord in the Indian cinegoer's psyche and went on to become
one of the highest grossers ever in the history of Indian Cinema.
