Yo, folks. Long time no type! Just managed some time to myself today
and thought I'd get back in touch... BTW: sign me up for
Ishtarpalooza, or ANY gathering which will be about the beloved film.

Last Thursday John Mitchell, Jonathan Crombie and myself met and taped
me yakking with them about all things Ishtar. They impressed me with
having a great focus on what makes the fans tick and why the movie
won't go away. In fact, I was just as entertained by the discussions
after the tape ran out as what occurred in front of the camera (more
so, in fact, as I am not a fan of my image...)! Forgiving the blatant
self-promotion, make sure you see this documentary... to the best of
my knowledge, it is (so far) the ONLY footage about Ishtar in
existence. And I hope it is just the beginning.

For those who have inquired about a tribute CD, please keep up the
hope! As expected, the legal complications about securing whole songs
from the movie and then the clearance to copy and sell recordings of
them make the going slow. If anyone in the group, or anyone you know,
has an interest to submit recordings, please contact me at:

And seeing as Hollywood missed the 20th anniversary, how about we plan
gatherings ASAP, and build up the 25th so Ishtar will not be ignored
again?
