I've seen the series and love it!  ITV made a big mistake by changing its schedule so less people saw it after just two episodes.  They must all have peanuts for brains. ;)
 
Yes, it was based on a book but I've never read it.  I think I'll have to now, though.  Its being based on a book is another reason why I doubt they'll make another series of it but we can still hope.  Was there just the one book?  If there were a series of books there may be more chance of their doing more of it for tv...

Far as I know there's just the one book. The book was excellent, though a lot of it was narrative from Paul's perspective - did they keep that in the show? ......

Um, they did in a way but as it was an acted out production it probably wasn't drawn from Paul perspective as much as the book was. Paul was definitely the...
