Since 2001 Houston Film Casting has helped connect film production companies, casting agencies and independent producers with actors and crew in Houston through its online postings. HFC�s popularity continues to grow by providing information on workshops, film festivals, media employment, networking functions, independent film viewings, and much more. The HFC was founded by Michelle Fitzgerald with the hope of not only sharing opportunities with each other, but with the hopes of fostering a sense of community within our industry here in Houston.
To submit a posting, please include the following information:
1. The title of the project
2. Format (35mm, 16mm, HD, DV, etc)
3. Shoot locations (cities)
4. A one or two sentence synopsis
5. A detailed character breakdown (for casting calls)
6. Crew positions available
7. Compensation (paid, deferred, meals only, etc)
8. ESSENTIAL: Contact information (email and/or phone and/or snail mail address)
9. Will you accept JPGs
10. Tentative shooting schedule
