Is it what I expect?

Below is what I expect:

Chick flick where a female protagonist falls in love with two inexplicably shirtless pretty-boys who become monstrous "passion-animals" when they are rubbed the wrong way. (Gee, wonder what THAT is emblematic of...[head-shake])
She fools around with both, but can't decide which one to choose while at the same time "enjoys" both of them in order to "try to decide" which 'one' to be with, even though the inexplicably often shirtless pretty-boys don't like each other.
The guys show off in front of her showing their savage rage in beating each other up, verbally and/or physically, and though she couldn't stand seeing either of them die (which would ruin all the fun she's having trying to "decide") she just gets all hot and bothered that they're fighting over her, inexplicably still shirtless and now scratched up, and not just because of the reasons they didn't like each other earlier.

The movie (I suspect), ends in a cliffhanger, where either the two (still inexplicably) often shirtless guys are about to "finish this once and for all" or they both try to "finish it" and end up falling into a cliffhanger, to be continued in the next movie, right?

I would like to know if I was anywhere close to the story. (simply sprinkle in "sparkly" Vampires and Werewolves for this genre version)

If I'm not anywhere close, then I might watch it. I've never read or heard of any ofthe books, and I didn't see "Twilight." I did, however, grow up in a house with my sister who LOVED ans still LOVES romance novels. I asked her what her synopsis was of each storyline, and the above was pretty much the boilerplate to each one.

I won't reveal my alternate ending boilerplate analyses unless people are interested.

And, yes, after finishing Joseph Campbell's "The Hero with a Thousand Faces," every epic movie is categorized and rarely holds surprise for me anymore. I am impressed when they do surprise me with some new plot twist that still fits into the genre.

This is not a rant. This is a genuine request to find out if I wait for the DVD or go spend the cash to see "New Moon" to be surprised.

Well sorry folks, but the house is being placed on the foundation tomorrow, Yaaaaa, however it will take them about a week to get everything sealed ect. Boooooo!!, so please bare with me, I have moved the Move to the 28th Next Sat, the moving men will get here at 07:30 am, if you want to help you might come over at 8:00-8:30. Lunch and Beer/Sodas will be provided.

Finally after three attempts and many hours of research, design and planning our proposal has won the bid to host the Browncoat Ball in Charlotte! We will be creating a website with all the information. It is OK to tell your friends and make posts about the event now.
