or even if there are any hints at which character mentioned in the

STORY: On August 10, 2005, The New York Times published an article by
reporter Michael Winerip entitled Essays in Search of Happy Endings,
about a class at Locke High School in the Watts neighborhood of South-
Central Los Angeles. The students were assigned to write about a day
in their lives. The article featured the
essay of one student, Lesly Castillo, who at age 15 was running the
girl clique of a major Latino gang and dating the 24-year-old gang
leader.

After the article appeared, filmmaker Alan Jacobs (American Gun, Nina
Takes a Lover) acquired the film rights from The New York Times,
secured the life rights from Lesly Castillo, and developed a
screenplay inspired by the real-life events. Like the essay, POR VIDA
takes place all in one day—the day that the 15-year-old girl, Rascal,
decides to leave the gang. Leaving, she discovers, is a good deal
harder than joining.

Rascal's story is further complicated by racial tensions between her
Latina gang and a rival black girl gang, a frequent problem today in
South-Central Los Angeles schools. The screenplay presents a raw,
authentic look at a teenager's life in the ghetto. Some have compared
it to the hit Denzel Washington film Training Day in that
it compresses an entire world into a single, dramatic day. Others
liken it to the Brazilian hit film City of God for its unflinching
look at a world most of us know little about.

Because of the project's social significance, the screenplay quality,
and the director's track record, POR VIDA has the makings of a
Sundance 'buzz movie' and the potential to attract positive media
attention, giving everyone involved the opportunity to participate in
something special.

What's wrong with those people who send advertisements and other junk
to actor fan groups. Do they know that all they are doing is ruining
everybody's good time? I sure showed them so by removing from this
group all the wierdos who sent all that crap. I want do do something to
keep this from happening again, but what? I don't know. However, if
anybody else has any suggestions as to how to block future spam from
here your input is greatly appreciated.

I know, Erica...spam happens!  I've had it on my board too and all you
can do is get the user name, email addy or IP address and ban them.
That should cut most of the spam.

It's not sent by an actual person but spybots that collect links
through the internet, that url gets in their system and it generates
the spam.  Technology can give you a headache....

I have been to the site and did not see any pictures of Zahn or any
appearance in the preview video though he is listed in the credits page
which is accessed by going to the production page. However I have
posted the link in hope that some Zahn stuff will be added in the
future with the site being new (it was just launched yesterday)

For all you Zahn fans in Italy and the U.K. Here is the very latest on
Zahn's new film Searchers 2.0. according to the Del Zamora's mySpace
blog (http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?
fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=155396841&blogID=235552500). Del Zamora
is one of the lead actors in the film. Searchers 2.0  will premire in
August at the 64th annual Venice Film Festival in Venice, Italy. It
will also play in the U.K. on the BBC channel in December.

After a little asking around I have finally been able to post a pic of
Zahn at the 15th Annual FAITA Awards on this site's Photo Gallery under
the heading 15th Annual FAITA Awards. tjsaunt (a.k.a. Bonemama) on the
official Zahn fan forum and the American Artists and Actors board was
kind enogh to allow me to post the pic of her posing with Zahn at the
ceremony. However she does not want the photo posted anywhere else on
the Internet except Zahn's official. Hope you all enoy it. BTW Zahn
looks soo hot sporting facial hair!!!
