I've tried straight HTML and PHP, and don't have a preference. It's up to the
individual project.

Yeah, but that's for you. If the guy who maintains it doesn't know how to
update an HTML website, he's SOL anyway. Most likely they chose a CMS
to make it easy for the guy or for Zahn to update himself. That's not possible
if you go straight HTML. With HTML it's got to be one person who updates it.
With a CMS, you can have several people updating a website, as long as
one person is responsible for the layout (templates) and upgrades.

Finding a pre-built Wordpress template that does everything you want is
almost impossible. The really cool ones cost money or are custom made.
