Looks like Zahn has shown up at the emmy awards on Sunday night even
though Into the West didn't win anything. Here are the details from

Into the West" Loses at the Emmy Awards
Tonantzin Carmelo, Zahn McClarnon & Irene Bedard
Attend Awards ceremony
Hey Roscoe,
Look out for Natives at the Emmy's! Just wanted to add to the news
that is, Zahn McClarnon, Irene Bedard and myself (Tonantzin Carmelo)
will be attending the Emmy's this Sunday. If all goes as planned we
are arriving and sitting together. I know sometimes you do press.
Are you going to be there? (Sorry TC I'm ill, but I watched the
show. I looked for you guys on the red carpet. But, didn't see you.
I was rooting for Best Mini-series. But, "Elizabeth" swept all
categories. Helen Mirren was phenomenal in that Mini. You guys were
representing. Roscoe)

Zahn asks a question for asap in a red carpet poll where a few
actors and actresses were asked what question they would ask if they
were given their own poll for a day and here is what zahn asked:

DO YOU KNOW WHAT'S HAPPENING WITH AMERICAN INDIANS?
Zahn McClarnon, an American Indian actor who appeared on the
miniseries "Into The West," would ask about his people. "How aware
are you of the poverty and alcoholism of the Native Americans in
your own back yard? ... It's depressing what's going on. The
communities are falling apart. The reservations are falling apart.
The alcoholism is killing our people. Just like any other community.
But it's happening right in our backyard."
