what is hysterically funny about this is that G-Tech is now owned by Hitachi.
So if you have a bad Hitachi drive
in a G-Tech enclosure - what, Hitachi the owner of G-Tech won't fix it ? I can
certainly understand if it's an "older" Seagate
drive that Hitachi has no ability to resolve.

What I was told by the rep was that G-tech does not repair out-of-
warranty drives nor do they sell parts. This may only apply to the G-
Raids about which I was asking. I did not push, but if that is their
policy, I does drop G-Tech several pegs in my book.
