I'm going to tell him to walk away.
Keep his contacts/connections.
If it takes 2-5 years for the right situation to present itself then so be it.
Why risk making someone else rich, and he end up starving.
At the end of the day if the A-list everything had the money they wouldn't be talking to him in the first place.
As for me I joined this group to learn about the business in particular the financial side of it.
Again thanks for the information.

Dear 4msetv, your friend’s deal would come from the production company, NOT the investors. The money-people’s only obligation is to bring their money to the table. The money folks would make their deal directly with the production company, NOT your friend. However, unless your friend is prone to doing freebie favors, your friend and the PRODUCTION COMPANY must execute a legally binding arrangement for a finder’s fee (which is usually from 1 to 3% depending on the amount brought in). There is rarely any back-end participation. From the jumble of words here, I couldn’t tell who had efused to sign an NDA, but the only NDA would be between the production company and the investors – it has nothing to do with your friend.
That said, you’ll get much better answers if you use real names – unless your name is really 4msetv, in which case I apologize.
