Homestead/Miami The Short Film, "Eight-Thirty," By Filmmaker Greg
Pitts will screen on September 13, Saturday at 3:00pm at the St.
Paul Baptist Church in Homestead, Florida.
Immediately following, the screening there will be a question and
answer session with the filmmaker, Mr. Gregg Pitts, and two of the
young actors from the film
"Eight-Thirty," is about two brothers (Peter and Romie), who have
big dreams for their future. In "Eight-Thirty" we see the struggles
that Peter faces both in his youth and as an adult. Finally, his
dream of becoming a famous skater does come true....but not in the
way he had planned.
Filmmaker Greg Pitts is an award winning filmmaker, having directed
and produced five award winning short films with his most recent
accolades to include one of his films, "All Rapped Up" screening at
the Miami Underground Film Festival in March 2007 and "Da Man" a
video spoof that screened in Miami in April 2008. "Eight-Thirty,"
has received several awards ranging from the Moondance International
Film Festival - Semi-Finalist - Short Drama Division to Idaho
Panhandle International Film Festival – Official Selection
