Here's the update with Filmmakers' Ambitions:


-MEETING THIS (AND EVERY) WEDNESDAY
8:30pm in Young 198, April 28th
Meeting Discussion will be:
"Video Cameras"

-REC HALL CLEANUP
FROM NOON TO 4PM - THIS THURSDAY (APRIL 29TH), WE WILL
BE HELPING THE RECREATION HALL DO A FEW CHORES. WE
NEED AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE, THE MONEY GAINED WILL
GO TOWARD MAKING/BUYING A GREEN-SCREEN ROOM FOR THE
CAMPUS. EMAIL DTCHIU@... FOR MORE INFORMATION
OR TO TELL US YOU'D LIKE TO HELP OUT. EVEN IF YOU
CAN'T MAKE THE WHOLE THING, JUST AN HOUR OF YOUR TIME
WOULD STILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED! SHOW UP AT THE
OLD REC HALL ON THURSDAY AND ASK ANY WORKER WHERE THE
"REC-HALL CLEANUP PEOPLE SHOULD GO" PLEASE, PLEASE,
PLEASE HELP OUT! IT'LL BE A LOT OF FUN TOO, MEET AND
GET A CHANCE TO WORK WITH OTHER UCD FILMMAKERS.

-SHORT FILM EXPRESS
This Friday, Saturday and Sunday is Davis's Short Film
Express! We will break into teams that each have
48hrs to make a film. You meet Friday at 5pm and are
divided into groups. You are given the treatment of a
script and have until Sunday at 5pm to make a short
film! A great way to meet other filmmakers, as well
as to get some experience. And a lot of fun! If you

-ASIAN AMERICAN FILM FESTIVAL
The Asian American Film Festival will be all next
week. For shows and showtimes go to
www.davisaaa.org/film. Even though they are FREE,
make sure to reserve tickets! Also, FA will have a
group of SELECT tickets for Thursday, Friday, and
Saturday - we need a count of who wants to go when.
So come to the meeting, or reply to this email if you
want us to get you a ticket for any of those three
days.
