Chris Huntley, co-creator of the Dramatica Theory of Story, will lead
a weekend workshop designed as an introduction to the Dramatica
theory, a bridge between "traditional" story concepts and Dramatica's
own reinterpretation of those story concepts.
Some of the topics to be covered include: defining our terms --
finding common ground in every day story terminology; balancing a
writer's role as author with a writer's role as audience; the
importance of Context in determining a story's meaning; the four
throughlines; and more.
LOS ANGELES: Saturday and Sunday, September 23 & 24, 2006.
NEW YORK: Saturday and Sunday, September 30 & October 1, 2006.
COST: $300.00 (save $50 if you are a registered user of Dramatica Pro

The workshops are open to all interested. You do not need to have
