CINEQUEST FILM FESTIVAL submissions for film and screenplays are now
being accepted. The deadline to submit is November 10, 2006. The top
10 scripts will go to a final jury comprised of top industry
producers and development executives. Sections of the festival

THE FTX WEST FILM & TELEVISION EXPO is a two-day trade show and four-
day conference, taking place in Vancouver, Canada from October 12 -
15, 2006. With an estimated 5000 attendees and nearly 70 exhibitors

Technologies, HollyNorth, Plus8digital, Sennheiser and Apple, the
FTX West Trade Show is the largest annual event of its kind in

$100,000 and a distribution deal. Shorts can win up to $3,500 in
cash. All qualified feature and short films will participate in the

international entries and awards a $3,000 prize to the "Best of
Show" winner. $2,000 is awarded to the "Sweet Home Alabama" winner,
which is the best film shot at least partially in Alabama. All first
place winners in each of the eleven categories receive the minimum
$100 cash prize or its equivalent in equipment or merchandise. Oscar

The 9th annual THE METHOD FEST INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL, March 30 -
April 6, 2007 in Calabasas, California, is looking for character and
story-driven films featuring strong acting performances. The Method
Fest features tributes to actors and filmmakers, acting and
filmmaking workshops, panels, seminars and parties galore. In eight
years, the Method Fest has launched over 75 films into the
marketplace (theatrical distribution, DVD/video release, TV deals).
