As a talented and multi-faceted child star and now as an adult, Elijah Wood has appeared in over 30 movies, many of them critically acclaimed. He has also appeared in TV programs, commercials and music videos, and has done voices for several video games and animated feature films. His last one, 'Happy Feet', won an Oscar for Best Animated Feature in 2007.

His most famous role was that of Frodo Baggins in the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. The last of the trilogy, 'Return of the King', won 11 Oscars in 2004.

He has expressed a desire to do more TV since he believes some excellent series are currently being made in that medium.

He started a record label, "Simian Records". He has produced music for "Apples in Stereo”, “Heloise and the Savoir Faire”, and his next band is “Bryan Scary and the Shredding Tears” with a CD release scheduled for 2009.

He has plans to co-produce "Black Wings Has My Angel" with Indalo Productions.

His current/future movies are:

--"The Oxford Murders" was released in Europe and the UK. Premiered at the Aero Theater in Santa Monica on June 6, 2009.

--"9"--Release scheduled for Sept 9, 2009.

--"The Passenger" a film yet to be made about Iggy Pop. On hold.

--“Made in Japan”, a documentary, to be narrated/produced by Elijah. In production.

--"The Heart is a Drum Machine", a documentary, premiered in Phoenix, Arizona in February 2009.

--"The Home"--A creature horror flick. Elijah will co-produce. Principle photography planned for May 2009. Weta to do special effects.

--"Madman"--Elijah rumoured.

--"The Mechanic" -- Gangster movie remake. Elijah rumoured.

--"The Experiment"--In production July 2009.
