This is a group for the fans of Alex McArthur and his great TV movie series Desperado. He was born in PA., and started his acting lessons and career in NYC. Working part time as a bartender at Studio 54 and having his own carpentry business. He worked in several movies, but his parts were cut, finally in 1981 he appeared in They All Laughed (he's the bellboy). Since then he has been in a number of movies and TV shows. But his greatest fame comes from the NBC movie series Desperado in which he played Duell McCall. The first movie was in 1987 and then there were 2 a year after that through 1989, a total of 5 TV movies. They were originaly syndicated to USA channel which cut them up, but have since been run on both the Western Channel and CTM in much better condition. Alex had two other TV series that didn't fare as well, though they were very good; The Fifth Corner 92 and The Road Home 94. Alex is still making movies, and lives quietly with his wife Tammi and their four kids in the San Fernando Valley, CA. One of his favorite hobbies is his motorcycle, he did a fabulous motorcycle movie called Race For Glory in 1989.
