The East 53rd Place Gang is the actual ORIGINAL name of the Dead End Kids in the play, DEAD END. For anyone who has seen the movie it is RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF YOU (can you find it? it IS there).This group is a Memorial to the Original DEAD END KIDS prior to their change to the East Side Kids and Bowery Boys. On this site we can discuss their films, the individual ORIGINAL Dead End Kids, their lives, and sadly their deaths(I admit I'm a Bobby Jordan Fan from way back-he was the saddest in the end). The ACTUAL Bowery Boys were a fierce NYC Street Gang of Civil War New York City that were accurately depicted in the Leonardo De Caprio film: GANGS OF NEW YORK. Case Closed!
