Yes, ladies and gentlemen, it's finally happened! Dani Garza is going
to cruise!

Those of you who have followed my career for the past few years have
known how much I've wanted to land a gig on a cruise ship... and now
it's official!

I will be boarding the CARNIVAL FASCINATION on October 24th, 2005 for
a six-month tour of Western Caribbean and Mexico. (For more details

production singer for 2 shows, "Hollywood" and "Broadway."

That's the headline for the review in today's Lancaster Intelligencer
Journal for the official press opening of Dani's lastest
venture: "Ruth" at Sight & Sound Theatres in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

The divine story of Ruth gets spectacular play in its world premiere
at Sight & Sound Theatre.

In a VIP sneak preview Thursday night, nearly 70 actors wearing more
than 600 costumes filled a 300-foot stage wrapping around three-
quarters of the theater to tell Ruth's story of loyalty, love and
loss.

"Ruth" tells the crucial role of three women from Hebrew history in a
production with all the signature grandeur for which Sight & Sound is
known.

And while Ruth's story ultimately is one of universal acceptance,
Sight & Sound's production also explores themes of exclusivity and
discrimination that ruled the time period known as "Time of the
Judges" in Israel from 1380 to 1050 B.C.

"Ruth" is a departure for Sight & Sound, which has mounted other
spectacular stories about men in the Bible, including Noah and
Daniel. Presenting a story of women in the Bible highlights their
plight as noble chattel, but also explains how Ruth moved the faith
forward as the mother of Obed, grandmother of Jesse and great-
grandmother of King David.

Ruth's story could only be moving in Millennium Theatre, which boasts
a stage twice the size of Radio City Music Hall, with thousands of
twinkling overhead lights for stars and stunning sets that change in
a blink.

At its best, "Ruth" brings to life Moab, an ancient country that
became Jordan. In Ruth's childhood there, it was a swirling oasis of
activity centered on a pagan god that Ruth is forced to serve.

Although she's a gentile, Ruth meets and marries Mahlon, the son of
Naomi and Elimelech, who resettled in Moab when famine overtook
Bethlehem.

After Elimelech's death, Ruth and her sister-in-law, Orpah, find
themselves destitute when their husbands are killed.

Ruth and her mother-in-law Naomi return to Bethlehem, only to have
their faith in God challenged by an untrusting Hebrew community that
scorns Ruth for being a native of Moab.

But Ruth's example of her new faith in a God and love for Naomi win
her acceptance and, ultimately, the love of the noble Boaz, a native
Israelite.

It's a long production - more than three hours - but the actors and
lovely scenery move constantly, giving the audience the genuine
impression they are making the journey with Ruth.

The sheer magnitude of "Ruth" is astounding. A harvest scene on the
full wraparound stage is just fantastic, with the sound of working
sickles pumped in, life-size trees and dozens of haystacks, donkey
carts moving across the stage and actors on horseback entering and
exiting the stage right down the middle of the theater. The scene is
so vast, you can't see it all without turning your head.

The production also features parrots that fly the full length of the
stage along with camels, dogs, donkeys, goats, sheep and a giant
Scottish Highlander steer.

An intriguing adaptation of a worthy tale that thematically
transcends time, "Ruth" is a sight and a story to behold.

To make one small correction, the show is long, but it actually runs
only two hours and ten minutes. The media folks were also involved
with several smaller events encasing the show which made their night
seem longer.

Ladies and gentlemen, I can't express in words what an absolute
BLESSING it is to be a part of this show. The overlying theme, and
the final song state that "a new time has come" - and for me, it most
certainly has. I am fortunate to have been asked to return to Sight &
Sound just in time to premiere this beautiful story of love and
redemption. I hope that many of you will be able to come see the show
and to experience the joy that it brings me with every performance.

Exciting news!!

Hello to all!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday season, and that you're
looking forward to a bright and blessed New Year! I know I am -
starting with a few appearances right back here in my own hometown of
Shreveport/Bossier City!

On Thursday, January 20th, I'll be singing "Broadway Baby" at The
Last Appointment (TLA) for Bossier City's Chamber of Commerce. This
special performance is dedicated to the many members of this
community who have been the 'wind beneath my wings' and have
continually supported me and prayed for me as my career has begun to
take off. All are invited!

The TLA takes place at the Century Tel Arena at 5 PM. Admission is $3
for members of the Bossier City Chamber of Commerce, and $5 for
general public.

Afterwards, stick around for an exciting night of CHL Hockey!! This
is the one and only appearance I'll be making to sing the US National
Anthem for the 2004-05 Mudbugs Hockey Season. On Thursday, January
20th, see the Shreveport/Bossier Mudbugs vs. the Odessa Jackalopes.
Admission is $5 in advance, or $8 at the door at the Century Tel
Center, Bossier City, Louisiana. The song starts at 7 PM sharp, and
the game begins at 7:05 PM.

Then, on Friday January 21st, a very special engagement! The public
premiere of the recording of one of my most highly requested
songs, "Big Time!" At the Krewe de les Femmes Mystique's Grand Bal
Tableau IV (Mardi Gras Ball), our esteemed Lady of Grace, Ami
Edwards, will theme her grand entrance with this song.

So another chapter of my career is complete with the closing
of "Noah: the Musical." I want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone
who came to see the show and be a part of this "new beginning" for
me. HIS promises are true!

And as one door closes, another opens! My next endeavor has already
begun, as I've plunged headlong into rehearsals for "The Miracle of
Christmas" with hardly a chance to catch my breath! My first featured
role at the Millennium Theatre as Eve (as in Adam & Eve) is enjoyable
and humbling all at once. I'm also reveling in several step-out
moments throughout the show, such as a ring-leading tormenter of Mary
when she returns, pregnant, to Nazareth, and also as a wife and
mother of 2 adolescents arriving in Bethlehem too close to the
deadline to Pay Your Tax.

I would love to see many of you come and enjoy this "Miracle" with
me! It is a magnificently presented depiction of the story of the
greatest Christmas gift of all. You can find more details about

Hello everyone! Merry Christmas!!!

I hope everyone's holidays were as merry as can be. I am thankful for
the blessings we've been sent from above - home, family, health,
future - not only for myself but for the world and our neverending
journey towards peace.

Anthem once again at tonight's (12/26) Bossier/Shreveport Mudbugs
game against Indianapolis! I sure have missed seeing a good hockey
game during my tour in West Virginia. :) The game promises to be a

Hey everyone!

I'm in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia - and I love it!
We've started "The Near-Sighted Knight and the Far-Sighted Dragon" on
tour, and every day we get to travel to new locations to perform,
about ten shows a week. The audiences are terrific and the view along
the way can't be beat! The fall foliage is just beginning to peak,
and every day the landscape changes just a little.

I'm having the time of my life working with a great group of talent
who has so much to give to every single show! So far we've traveled
about 2,000 miles in three weeks, and played to more than 3,500
students. Everyone has been so receptive and welcoming to us, and not
a day goes by that I don't thank God for my blessings. I am a lucky
lady!

Most recently we traveled to Washington DC to play two shows at the
National Theatre on Pennsylvania Avenue - just a few blocks away from

And speaking of the website, it's going through a lot of changes

Hello to all!

I wanted to send out a very special THANK YOU to everyone who came to
see "My Way" at the Shreveport Little Theatre. The show extended
twice, running for a fantastic 13 performances, and was seen by
nearly 2000 patrons, including some of you!! Thank you so much for
sharing this incredible experience with me and the cast and crew.

I truly hope you liked it, and I love hearing your questions and
thoughts and comments. Do share your experiences from the show with
those people on the list who might not have gotten the chance to come

huge hit, with patrons traveling in from as far away as Lafayette and
Galveston just to see it!

The first four weeks have sold out, but there are still tickets
available to additional performances!! The cast of "My Way" is having
such a blast, we're reluctant to see it end anytime soon! But we can

latest musical endeavor, "My Way: a Musical Tribute to Frank
Sinatra," has sold out its initial 3-week run and EXTENDED it's
performances!! Shreveport Little Theatre will host the show at 8 PM
on July 5, 11, 12, *18, and 19th,* and at 2 PM on July 6, 13, and

One of literature's most mischievous and fun-loving heroes will be

Henry Fielding novel, and is one of the most well-loved, hilarious
plays to date! Tom Jones, a blackguard with a twinkle in his eye,

Hey all!

Sorry I didn't get the word out in time for you to set VCR's. The
reporter honestly just caught me at the last second and asked me to
sing for the camera, and by the time I got home it was on the air!

For those of you who missed it, I went to the Office Depot in Bossier
City this evening to help promote the "United We Stand" Rally and
the "Wall of Tribute" offer from Office Depot. I was JUST about to
leave when Mr. Jackson asked me to preview a little of next week's
performance.

Though I will be singing the Star-Spangled Banner at the "United We
Stand" Rally, I opted to sing "God Bless America" for KTBS. Tonight,
on the 10 o'clock news they played the first four lines of the
song! :)

The clip may or may not replay on the Friday morning or afternoon
news broadcasts at 6 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., but I guess it couldn't
hurt to watch and see!

Well, it's official!! Hooray! I can't believe the incredible response
you all have given me to this new and exciting venture! Wow! I"m so
flattered and so grateful to all of you! Your glowing reviews, kind
words, and constant support make it all worthwhile!

There's so much exciting news to share! Of course, it's audition
season again, and as many of you have heard, I've been making the
rounds on a nationwide tour. :) As always, as soon as I know anything
official at all, I will be letting everyone know. But as members of
the OFFICIAL Fan Club mailing list, *you* will be the VERY FIRST to
know!!! :-D

Many of you have told me you've seen them already - the Spring adn
Summer commercials for American Wholesale Mattress are airing now!
You can see them on NBC, Fox, Fox Family, ABC Family, and many other
channels. I wish I could give you a specific schedule, but I
understand that they play at all different times on different days.
Even I have not had the chance to see one yet! Ha ha! So good luck to
all, and be sure to write to the list and let us know what you think
(and which channel you saw it on) when you catch one!

The Shreveport/Bossier CHL Mudbugs have made a final valiant effort,
but alas, it looks as if our season will end without a trip to the
playoffs this year. :( Not to worry! Dani has already been invited to
sing the National Anthem for the arena football season at the
CenturyTel Center for the Shreveport/Bossier Battlewings!! As soon as
I have a schedule of dates, I will post them here first!

The Company Repertory's Murder Mystery tour is still going strong!
Our performances at Bossier's Isle of Capri, Shreveport's Southern
Trace Country Club, and Iowa's Ameristar Casino were all sold-out
smashing successes!! We heard nothing but terrific reviews from every
single venue, and our reputation is preceding us, as we've been
invited to several new venues in the near future! In April, we'll
travel to Jackson, Mississippi to perform at another Ameristar
Casino, and in August, we'll fly out to Nevada for a week-long run!

April promises not only spring showers, but also the reunion of my
voice with the one who helped me start it all - Megan Younger! The
pair of us have been invited to provide a cabaret of entertainment to
the Kiwanis Club of Tyler, Texas on April 29th. We'll be singing a
set of popular Broadway and pop/rock tunes, including a few of the
duets that brought us together - "In His Eyes" and "I Still Believe."

And May will bring Dani back to the local boards, in East Bank
Theatre's production of "Tom Jones"! Dani will be playing Harriet
Fitzpatrick, the wife-on-the-run from her jealous, raving Irishman
husband. "Tom Jones" plays Friday, May 2nd thru Sunday, May 11th.
