  The Hindu, India exalted Anu's paintings "...you can rediscover the magic of
watercolours that used to thrill the old masters..."

Anu has exhibited her work in solo and group exhibitions nationally and
internationally, notably a solo at the Shishti Gallery in India and a group
exhibition at the National Arts Gallery in Bangladesh. Her work is in major
collections including the Italian Senate and that of Papal Knight, Gary Krupp of
the Pave the Way Foundation.

Anu's work will be exhibited from 4:00-7:00pm and immediately following the
concert. She will be present at the exhibition. Paintings and limited edition
giclees (fine art prints) will be offered for sale.

Ravikiran, one of India's foremost musicians, will be performing his only
chitravina concert in NYC this year.

Hailed as the Mozart of India, he made headlines as the world's youngest prodigy
at the age of two.

The Chitravina is a twenty-one stringed fretless lute, considered to be one of
the most ancient Indian instruments.

Ravikiran has created over 500 compositions and was the youngest musician to
receive the highest award from the Tamil Nadu State Government at the age of 17.
Numerous awards have been bestowed on him including the Best Contemporary World
Album in the U.S. in 2001.

From the LIE Exit 51, The Northern State Parkway Exit 42N, and The Southern
State Parkway Exit 39N:
Drive North on Deer Park Avenue, bear left at the fork (at traffic light), onto
Park Avenue. At 3rd light, make a right turn onto Broadway, continue for 4-5
miles until you reach Route 25A. Cross 25A (to left of Centerport Automotive),
and you are on Little Neck Road. The Vanderbilt Museum is 1.5 miles on the
right.
 
From the South Shore:
Take the Sagtikos Pakway North to the Sunken Meadow Parkway north. Take the last
exit, 25A West. Travel about 8 miles and make a right at the Centerport
Automotive in Centerport, onto Little Neck Road. We are 1.5 miles on the right.
 
From Route 110 or 25A West:
Travel north on 110 to Huntington Village. Make a right turn onto 25A/Main
Street. Travel about 4 miles to Centerport, at the flashing yellow light, bear
left onto Park Circle, then turn left onto Little Neck Road. We are 1.5 miles on
the right.
 
***NOTE*** Please make sure to bring a picnic lunch or some sort of snack. There
is no place to buy food at the museum, but there is a picnic area where we can

Hey, so I just joined the group.  I live in the Bronx, and though I'm interested
in what you're doing, I gotta tell ya, I'm not gonna be able to make it out to
Long Island....

So I was wondering if anyone knew of a similar group in the Bronx, or maybe

At the end of each year Docking Bay 516 holds elections to decide who will hold
the officer positions for the following year. Nominations were made at the last
meeting (Meeting 37 on November 13). Elections will be held at the next meeting
(Meeting 38 on December 11). Now let me present the positions and the nominees.
I am including only those nominees who accepted their nominations and presenting
them in the order of the nominations.

Webmistress (responsible for keeping our website looking awesome and working
well)
- Tristan (current Webmistress)

Event Coordinator (responsible for being the public contact point for external
parties, other than fan groups, who wish to hold events with DB 516)
- Daniel

Secretary of the Treasury (responsible for keeping meeting minutes and handling
the treasury, including club dues)
- Billy (current SotT)

Chapter Representative (responsible for being the public contact point for other
fan groups, including other FanForce chapters, the 501st, the Rebel Legion, the
Jedi Assembly, etc.)
- Tristan
- Dana (current CR)

President (responsible for running the meetings and handling general executive
duties associated with keeping the club functioning well)
- Abhay (current President)
- Moriah
