That was not what bothered the Gelflings and Pods:
They never HAD any money...and they never missed it.
All of their markets were REALLY free markets:
They NEVER used ANY money at all.
They didn't barter.
That's not what they did.
Everyone brought things.
And everyone took.
Their human counterparts hold "Really,Really,Free Markets."
People bring unused items.
And take other peoples'.
Carry this concept to planetwide scale...
