I know there was once a Dark Crystal roleplay on Yahoogroups, and when
the mod fell off the earth, the rp died, I'm wondering if anyone would
be interested in a Dark Crystal RP on LJ or Greatestjournal?

I'm thinking it would have four main communities

The first comm would be 10 years after the crystal cracked, and
continue the plot of the Yahoo group rpg.
There are 18 Skeksis and 18 UrRu. The prophecy is not set in stone yet
and won't be for another 200 years. The cruel and sinful Skeksis
however, have realized the glory of Gelfling escence and of slave
workers. They've begun to capture Gelfling as pets and slaves.

However, two Gelfling- Di'Koy and Jemika have liberated the mines and
have fled the castle. They and their followers now just hide in
caverns far from the castle.

Players would be able to play...
-Pet gelfling
-Liberated followers of Jemika and Di'Koy
-Free gelfling of tribes not yet raided by garthem
-Slave gelfling
-Skeksis original characters
-Skeksis from the movie.
-UrRu original characters
-UrRu from the movie.

The second comm would be about 500 years later.
Gelfling are now viewed as a threat to Skeksis due to the prophecy.
Garthem raids are daily and gelfling are quickly being wiped out.
Gelfling are no longer kept as pets nor slaves, as it's too dangerous.
They are drained of essence and then quickly slaughtered.

Players would be able to play...

-descendants of Jemika and Di'Koy
-Free gelfling of tribes not yet raided by garthem
-lone, orphaned gelfling
-Skeksis original characters
-Skeksis from the movie.
-UrRu original characters
-UrRu from the movie.


The third comm would be in the 'present'. Thra and technology.


Players would be able to play...

-descendants of Jen and Kira


The fourth comm would be OOC.
