I first must offer my sincerest apologies to everyone regarding the Due
Credit Awards. I have been consistently and unfortunately late again and
again regarding deadlines and updates. Some of this has been due to
password screw-ups, some to computer failures, and much due to the sudden
reality of trying to balance two full-time jobs with the very time-consuming
awards.
The majority of the voting on the Due Credit Awards have now been closed.
No further votes will be accepted in any form in the following categories:

The categories of Best Author and Best New Author will be repaired to
include functioning links to EVERY author who has agreed to be included in
the awards. These will open anew on August 5th, and will be open to
additional votes from then until the 15th. The category of Best Series will
be similarly repaired, and open for the same additional length of time.
The categories of Best Parody or Filk and Best Gen Poem will be opened on
August 5th, and will be extended until the 25th.
Announcements of the majority of the winners will take place on August 10th.
The winners of Best Author, Best New Author, Best Series, Best Parody or
Filk, and Best Gen Poem, will be announced on August 30th, and appropriate
graphics distributed. The Second Annual Due Credit Awards will be fully
closed at that time.
Please forward this to all applicable lists and newsgroups.
PS: As you can see, I'm back on widomaker. The AOL address will be open for
a few more weeks, but this is again my permanent address, as our AOL
experiment has failed.
