ABOUT COLIN EGGLESFIELD
Colin was born in Farmington Hills, Michigan and raised in the Chicago suburban town of Crete, Illinois. After attending Illinois Wesleyan University for one year where he played football, Colin transferred to the University of Iowa and graduated with a degree in biology/pre-med.

Colin presently lives in New York City and when not taping at “All My Children,” runs his own t-shirt company called “Shout Out! Clothing” and enjoys exploring the city and everything it has to offer including going to the theatre. He’s also an avid runner who has completed the Chicago, New York, and San Diego marathons. Through his running, he has raised money for charities including “Team for Kids” as well as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. He also enjoys tutoring high school kids in math once a week at “The Door” Youth Center in lower Manhattan.

Having decided to pursue his acting career full time, Colin moved to Los Angeles in 2002 and immediately booked a pilot for the WB. Working steadily afterwards, his list of credits included the lead in three films and more guest appearances on TV shows including “Gilmore Girls”, “Nip/Tuck”, and “Charmed.” Colin starred in the film “Vampires: The Turning”, “Must Love Dogs”, and most recently, “Beautiful Dreamer,” a World War II love story.
