So I have a lot of Godzilla and Gamera gashapons or gshapon size.  Do any
members have any recommendations for display cases?  i am waging a constant
battle with dust and looking for some kind of way to keep things at bay.  My
shelf is not that deep.

thanks
Mark

I feel your pain my friend.  Dust is always a problem.  I'm always dusting.
I've been looking for some type of display cases myself.

I am thinking that train display cases may be the way to go -- at least for me.
The figures are not high, not deep, so you can either display them length-wise,
or vertically.  In my case my shelf is long but not deep and can not go too
high.

this is sort of what I mean -- longer than deep or high.

dust gets into everything, even into glass cabinets if they're not airtight
tho i do find glasss display cases to be the best
of course the amout of dust is also much less

other than that, u really don't have much of a choice other than dusting....
u can keep the current shelves and add a glass door to them
IKEA has some good chices of glass doors u can add on
thinking about getting them for my current open shelves
tho they are kind of pricey and w/ the amount of shelves they will add up~

wayne :)

cabinets for years. I think they are the best way to show off your vinyl figure
collection. Unlike shelves where you have to clean your figures every once in a
while with a glass display cabinet it keeps the dust off! I have 3 6ft tall
Kaiju Display cabinets and i will probley be needing a 4th sometime in the
future. But shop around before you just buy a display cabinet. My cabinets have
4 shelves and are 30inches wide 14inches deep 6ft tall. That will house 40 to 50
figures. I paid at the time $300 per cabinet sounds like alot but its worth the
money in the long run.
