This is a custom project I did for someone who's putting together an Isildur
costume. The project called for custom clasps for an under tunic that
incorporates design elements found in the Gondorian costumes, namely the white
tree, feathers, and the top of Narsil's pommel. Working from a provided drawing
of the clasp, I created a master from layers of styrene, carved and filed to
shape. The two halves fit together with a hidden clip attached to the back of
the larger half to hold the smaller in place.

I then made a two part mold of the pattern in RTV silicone. The final pieces
were cast in medium temperature lead-free pewter, clips cemented in place, and
details accented with gold laquer.
