We found Clare Saturday morning in the wall-to-wall crowded narrow main hall of the
Richardson TX, Civic Center for signings @ FAN DAYS. The e-bay photo rep and table helper
(Dakota) was with her.
"You're blonde again!" we said, remembering her reddish brown hair in Burbank last October.
As we took turns embracing she wanted to look in the large gold Godiva bag we had for her.
She noted that the Godiva chocolates we sent her after Burbank had arrived to her safely.
These today came green-ribbon wrapped for St. Patrick's Day.
We had to comment that Clare looked really good. Her waist seemed more slender when embraced.
She wore a semi-see-thru white quasi-peasant puffy-sleeved top, typical Clare black bra undeneath,
and jeans that wanted to be skinny, but had a slight boot flare for her contrasting color 3-4 inch
high-heeled boots.
Later we got Clare to show them to us and commented that we could possibly win a bet that she
wears high heels to bed.
Clare's table was just before the always queued up Morena Baccarin (SERENITY/FIREFLY) table.
THE THIRST
Anyway, Clare had never seen the beautiful white & red artwork of her on the THE THIRST DVD

She wanted to look at it more at the signing table down a short side hallway.
She also looked at the middle portion of her 2007 events we'd printed out for her
Godiva gift bag.
Clare said she was NOT topless in THE THIRST, as rumors had had it earlier.
MICHELLE
She wanted to know what the thumbnails about Michelle & Irene were - so we explained the
whole Dec 2006 L.A. parking meter bafflement thing we're run across on Whedon.info.
And linked from the thumbnails.
Somewhere we also noted that Michelle & Eliza now had TV series pilots.
And that Michelle had essentially said that her HOUSE & L&W appearances in 2006 just
involved her agent calling the producers.
After Clare stopped laughing, she scoffed - 'It's just not that easy - she had to audition
like I did for my HOUSE episode...Michelle's over-simplifying the process...'
We also mentioned Michelle had started smoking openly in ~2006.
Clare said that even if she had to do it for the play, as the script calls for,
she would never start up again. (Clare quit in May 2005).
Later we had to describe to her, at the table, with cryptic words, what Michelle's HOUSE
illness was - and about the yellow sticky note - all done with quick gestures. Clare laughed.
EMILIE
Clare did not know whether Emilie was still separated or not.
Also in the Godiva bag was a DVD we made for Clare of Emilie's 3/14/07
LOST flashback episode that Clare had missed.
"Loks like she's Jack's half-sister,,," we noted.
CALLIE
Clare's lawyer sister, she said, has now left the non-profit familiy law practice and is clerking for a judge,
"So,: we suggested, "on her way to the Supreme Court?" Clare did't disagree. But she did note, somewhat
exasperatedly , that Callie still was not datiing. (Callie lives in Clare's old NYU degree period Manhattan

CLARE RETIRES FROM EVENTS AFTER JUNE
Clare said that she was not planning to do any more events after DECALOGY & the Cruise in June.
That she had several film projects she was working on getting and was doing more writing (as she has told us
in more detail at time, off the record, since 2004)
LOOSE ENDS is Clare's #1 priority.
She wants to do NYC stage work, as she did before her film/TV career started.
She wants to have no events that conflict.
The reading 3/22/07 in the NYC theater is the first time all the cast gets together in one place.
No new opening date has been set (it was late Jan 2007) .
We also cryptically asked her at the table if she was also leaving room for what we talked about
in Burbank that we weren't allowed tp put up.
"That, too." Clare agreed, mystifying the e-bay photo rep/helped Dakota - whom we'd
thought was a girl in earlier e-mail exchange. Like Dakota Fanning. He commented
that he'd looked via site links and decided it was amazing.
Somewhat surprising us, since, compared to our Java-content LAN sites, both
gloryisagod sites are dirt simple HTML.
We also re-approached the lack of a good reciprocal information sharing method with Clare.
And suggested several options for when she stops scheduling events later this year.
She said that she'd talk to Brian.
Incidentally Clare came alone & is staying at a Richardson hotel - from which she goes
to visit the Keathley family in Plano - her sister-in-law is ill - in the evenings (Clare just calls
her her sister).
