Follow-up on Clare or not in that THIRST bare scene - Analysis of captures
FROM:
Followup on the earlier posts questioning whether that's Clare in the one scene
of a blonde receiving blood and throwing her head back to reveal even
more of herself than initially.
We did verify that this was the original trailer played back in May, and then saw no
Clare, except in the latter scenes. And not bare.
It should be noted that this trailer was earlier flagged by more than one viewer
per the FLAG button under the playback frame for nudity. But myspace.com has
done nothing to remove it in the last month.
TRAILER:
APPROACH
We reviewed it again and noted the later scenes where Clare is identifiable,
with all her clothes on. We've seen some of the stills of that via Kelly's MSN
group & here.
The scene near the center of the playback is very brief and is not continuous.
All attempts to frame-by-frame it by clicking PLAY, STOP or by clicking the
progress bar after STOP, shows that very little is in sequence. Almost every
second viewed is between cut outs of other frames to speed this up to match
the music.
But we were able to make 6 stop captures of this blood-drinking scene.
We then were able to zoom them up & lighten the dark captures.
The initial captures have so few pixels/cm that only a little was gained.
ANALYSIS
Our tentative conclusion, again, is that this is not Clare.
It could be almost any reasonably endowed blonde, like
Grey's Anatomy/Roswell's Katherine Heigl, rather than Clare.
There's not enough light or resolution in any capture of these tiny images to
look for Clare's 3 upper chest birthmark spots.to say one way or the other
with absolutre certainty.
Clare's 3 birthmark spots:
So we tried to identify her early in the sequence, but it's in motion,
so we can't be sure from her profile, though the blonde does resemble
Clare a lot.
But then, as we noted, Katherine Heigl can look a lot like Clare facially.
As was noted by some on the UPN boards that year both were on TV in
Buffy & Roswell.
Then we were left with the primary evidence.
In both the early and drinking & head thrown back stop-sequence, we believe
that there's just too much visible there for this to be Clare.
CONCLUSION
So, unless Clare says differently, we'll stick with our May original
observation & believe that this is not Clare in this blood-drinking,
bare sequence.
